Tasting note: Nose: Sweet, quite winey, reminiscent of old Tavel rose. There’s some honey, spices, charred fruits and red fruits. Subtle. Palate: Soft and honeyed with a sweet red currant jelly flavour. Good weight and balance. A sweet gentle malt. Finish: Soft. Comment: Well-mannered and well-balanced. Score – 7 3/4 (out of 10).
