| Established in 1745, Cossart Gordon is the oldest Madeira company in the world. Trivia hounds would be interested to know that Madeira was the drink of choice in 18th century America. In fact, the drafters of the Declaration of Independence toasted their success with it on July 4, 1776. Sercial is used to create the lightest and driest style of Madeira.
