Tsipouro is to Greece, what grappa is to Italy. Made in the same way as grappa, water is combined with the must leftover from winemaking and distilled. Legend suggests that monks first created Tsipouro in the 14th century. This is best enjoyed chilled as a digestif after a fine meal. |
