| Internationally recognized as one of the great indigenous white grapes of Greece, this vibrant new 2025 Assyrtiko is now a VINTAGES ESSENTIAL Pale straw in colour, it has a fresh, slightly spicy, lively, honeysuckle, bright, wintermelon-grapefrui nose with some youthful, leesy-mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, very fresh, wintermelon and ripe pear flavours with a lingering, crisp, refreshing, well balanced finish. | TASTING NOTE: Made from 100% Assyrtiko sourced from local growers at high altitudes in the hills of Amyndeon, this unoaked wine spent over four months on the lees gaining extra depth. It's crisp and poised, with notions of crunchy orchard fruit and subtle marine salt. Pair with fried calamari or zucchini blossoms. |
