| This attractive Macedonian 100% Xinomavro rose from northern Greece as a bright very pale salmon colour. Bright, fresh, faintly spicy, floral, ripe, raspberry nose with hints of minerality. Dry, medium bodied, fresh, raspberry-nectarine flavours with a lingering, crisp, refreshing finish. This very tasty, crowd-pleaser spent 3-months on the lees increasing its complexity and mouthfeel. It has 13.5% alcohol, 1.5 g/L residual sugar and 5.9 g/L total acidity. It comes with a screwcap bottle with lot number L02826B on the back label. Delicious now it will even improve with some additional bottle aging. |
