| A stunning repeat of the 2022 November 2, 2024 BEST BUY but now with almost twice the lees aging - totalling 32 months. Medium yellow colour with streams of tiny bubbles. Attractive, ripe, faintly citrusy, apple-lemon nose with some toasty, brioche notes. Dry, medium bodied, well textured, fairly complex, bright, ripe, apple-lemon-melon flavours with a lingering, gently toasty, effervescent finish. Fermented in the bottle and with extended lees aging.This delicious blend of 38% Xarello, 26% Parellada, 21% Macabeu, 7.5% Chardonnay and 7.5% Pinot Noir has 11.5% alcohol and only 1.2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-0021335 on the back label. Drinking perfectly - one of the best values I have ever tasted. |
