May 31-June 3, 2007

The third Wine Summit Lake Louise is held following the success of the first two events, along with the comments received from those who attended.

The event promises to be a three-day celebration of wine, food and newfound friendships. At Wine Summit Lake Louise, you will have the opportunity to taste some wines, alongside the winemakers and owners of these estates. The special food and wine pairing guest for 2007 is renowned chef, author and teacher John Ash from Napa Valley, California.

This year's summit will feature the following wineries:
Beaux Frères Vineyard – consistently produces world-class Pinot Noirs widely recognized as among Oregon’s finest.
Château Cos d’Estournel – an incredible vertical from one of Bordeaux’s most famous second growths. It’s wine that needs no translation.
Patz & Hall Winery – year in and out, one of the Napa Valley’s highest rating Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producers.
Sassicaia, Tenuta San Guido – a pioneer of Super-Tuscan wines. Enjoy and compare a number of sought-after vintages from one of the finest winemaking families in Italy.
Shafer Vineyards – this winery’s Hillside Select Cabernet is one of only a handful in California to have achieved "cult wine" status.
Torbreck Vintners – winemaker David Powell is considered by Robert Parker Jr. as "unquestionably one of the world’s finest."

The backdrop of this event is second-to-none! Nestled amidst the towering pines of Banff National Park and surrounded by the soaring peaks of the majestic Canadian Rockies. With its’ natural beauty and splendour, Lake Louise is recognized as both a World Heritage Site and a premiere vacation destination.
